Hosted by the Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation under the theme “Just Peace for Development,” the three-day event features high-profile figures such as former diplomat and Secretary General of the Assilah Forum Foundation, Mohamed Benaïssa, along with intellectuals and academics Abdelilah Belkeziz and Abdelhak Azzouzi.

The Forum aims to bolster genuine human determination to promote fair peace and amplify the voices of reason and wisdom to drown out the calls for war worldwide.

Structured around six panels focusing on topics like “development and just peace,” “peace and institutional development,” “peace and social development,” “peace and cultural development,” “peace and economic development,” and “experiences and prospects of peace and development,” the program is designed to facilitate comprehensive discussions.

The Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation organized the inaugural edition of this Forum on peace education for cultural heritage preservation at the International Court of Justice (The Hague, Netherlands) in June 2019. A second edition took place in March 2022 in Valletta (capital of Malta), exploring the theme of governance for just peace.
